Our Wellness Programs are 3 day to 12 week programs that combine results-oriented spa treatments, wellness services, personal training and gym membership, home care, and the latest in self-care education – all tailored to your needs and goals. The concept is uniquely flexible – you follow the programme during a normal working week, with appointments and treatments scheduled during your free time. Programs include Unwind, Energise, Transform, Quit Smoking and Detox, Lose Weight Feel Great, Motherhood Matters, Feminine Balance, The Bridal Path. Prices of programs vary with services and schedules you choose.

Jhalu Day Spa is available seven days per week by appointment.

Our goal at Jhalu is to ensure that each of our clients has the “rainbow experience”. To assist you in making the most of your Spa experience we provide the following important information.

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.

This allows time to fill in a necessary health and wellness Questionnaire, with the information you provide it will assist your therapist to make your time with us a special one. Also as a courtesy to our other clients all treatments will be completed at the scheduled time, and arriving late will unfortunately limit the time for your treatment.

Your treatment will be cancelled and the full price charged if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of the start of your appointment.

Water & heat treatments require certain levels of undress. Your therapist will advise you what is expected. We supply robes, slippers and disposable undergarments where required.

Whilst we will take all care to secure your belongings, we recommend that you avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to your Jhalu experience.

If you need to change or cancel your appointment we ask you kindly to give us at least 24 hours notice Monday to Friday and 48 hours for weekend appointments.

Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full price of the treatment being charged. All bookings must be secured with a credit card or deposit.

Room Charge attracts a 10% surcharge. A 15% surcharge applies on Public holidays. Credit Card & Eftpos Available (surcharges apply).

Rebates for some health funds are available on request for remedial massage treatments.

Jhalu Day Spa & Fitness is located on Level 1 of the Mantra Ettalong Beach Resort. On arrival at the resort reception, ask for a lift key to the day spa on Level 1. Upon exiting the lift at Level 1 turn to the left hand corridor. The entrance to Jhalu is located along the corridor on the right hand side.

LEVELS EXPLAINED

Different solutions within our range are available in a variety of ‘levels’ as described below:

Level One: This level produces a gorgeous natural tan on virtually all skin types.

Level Two: All the benefits of our Level One tanning solutions but with a 40% increase in the active ingredients. Should be used with caution on some sensative skin types. SunFX recommends patch testing when in doubt.

Level Three: Formulated for those with Olive or non-sensative skin types who prefer that much sought after richer, darker tan. Our strongest formulation. REMEMBER: Only recommended for people with olive complexions and people with non-sensative skins. SunFX recommends patch testing when unsure about skin types.
