FAQs
- Q?Is the Jhalu gym open to the public?
-
A.
Yes, our gym is open to the public (and not just for guests of the resort). We offer a full range of memberships.
- Q?What if I arrive late for my treatment?
-
A.
As I’m sure you can understand, our treatment spots are in high demand and our therapist’s time is valuable. In fairness to clients who have booked a spot after you, arriving late will unfortunately limit the time for your treatment. Plan your special time out and ensure you arrive on time to experience the total benefits and pleasure of pampering.
- Q?What if I need to cancel my booking?
-
A.
As treatments are especially reserved for you, 24 hours notice of cancellations is kindly requested (48 hours for bookings on weekends or public holidays). Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full price of the treatment being charged.
All bookings must be secured with a 50% deposit and a valid credit card. No-shows without notice will be charged at 100% of the booking value.
- Q?Are there any surcharges?
-
A.
Please note the following surcharges may apply to our standard prices:
- Resort Room Charge 10%
- Public Holidays 15%
- Credit Cards 2%
- Q?What time should I arrive for my appointment?
-
A.
We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time to check in and complete the necessary health questionnaire. As a courtesy to our other clients all treatments will be completed at the scheduled time, and arriving late will unfortunately limit the time for your treatment. Your treatment will be cancelled and the full price charged if you do not arrive within 15 minutes from the scheduled start time of your appointment.
- Q?How do I Day Spa?
-
A.
If you’ve never been to a Day Spa before you may feel a little apprehensive.
Our goal at Jhalu is to ensure that each of our clients has the “rainbow experience”. To assist you in making the most of your Spa experience we provide the following important information.
We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment. This allows time to check in and complete the necessary health questionnaire. As a courtesy to our other clients all treatments will be completed at the scheduled time.
Various treatments require certain levels of undress. Your therapist will advise you what is expected. We supply robes and disposable undergarments for all your treatments, or you may wear swimmers. Whilst we will take all care to secure your belongings, we recommend that you avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to your Jhalu experience.
- Q?How do I pronounce "Jhalu" and what does it mean?
